Hello kids! How was your weekend. I spent mine working on my final paper (which I finally submitted this morning) and catching up with friends.

In a breif rest period, I came across these killer shoes and thought they would be perfect for a spring splurge. I can picture wearing them with black 7/8 length trousers for a modern take on 50's fashion. Aren't they fab?

I love the new 2012 summer line by Closed, the bright fluoro yellow, mellow stripes and casual stars make me want to roll down a grassy hill with the sun shining in the sky. I don't know about you, but spring can't come fast enough.

Spring fashion is here and with it comes lots of lovely pastel colours. This new skirt from Whistles is fab! I love the midi length and the fresh candy coloured stripes. Perfect for spring time sunshine.

a little bit of luxury

A little bit of luxury goes a long way and when you're strapped for cash during the holidays, I've found splurging on the little things helps to put a swing back into my party heeled step. This year, I have to give thanks to the hot-sex-rock-star that IS Tom Ford because his new line of nail laquers are exquisite. Serious luxury in a pot, this super saucy 'Carnel Red'  is totally delectable with just a hint of naughtiness.

Happy Monday kids. I don't know about you, but winter has well and truly hit London. It's wet, cold and windy and these beauties are what I'll be wearing to keep warm. I love the leather hands alongside the cosy wool sleeves. They will be perfect when we head up North for Christmas and a perfect little birthday present to myself!

...and i'm back! Sorry for the absence friends, things have been busy my end. Lots to update you on in due course but to kick start the week, how fabulous is this skirt from The Kooples?!  I've checking out a lot of fall fashion the last few weeks and this is definitely on my list.

I love all detailing this skirt offers, from it's lovely sheer length to the leather zip around the waist. I can imagine wearing this in the winter with think tights and boots but rocking it in the summer time sheer and with a silky tank. Yes? Yes.

Happy Friday friends! Aren't these scarves dreamy? I think they are so very pretty and I love the fact you can feel happy knowing that each and every one is unique. Dyed by hand in small batches in what's sure to be an adorable studio in Minnesota (that's in the US folks), Martha McQuade also creates stunning colour block and pure cotten beauties too.

Hope everyone is enjoying this decidedly fall weather. The husband's parents are in town this weekend and we have lots of plans to keep them entertained. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ! x

Given the amazing heat wave we are still experiencing in London (can I get a Amen?!) I feel like posting about this superfab sweater is a little bit silly. I'm not normally a lipstick girl, but I recently saw a femme fatale wearing bring orange lipstick and decided to give it a try. After the husband got over the shock of the colour (he says: 'I saw your lips miles before I saw you!), we agreed it was great for a summer night out. What do you think?
