pizza

pizza with mushrooms, prosciutto, mozzarella & fresh basil

served with rocket salad &parmesan

I've been wanting to make pizza dough from scratch for ages, and this week, I finally found the motivation to do it. The pizza was delicious! But I think next time I'll try to make my crust a little bit thinner. Instead of being crisp and crunchy, it was a bit too soft and mushy. 


Recipe for the dough here. I used a mixture of tomato paste and pesto for the base & topped with sauteed mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, fresh chilli & torn basil. Yum!
